my girl madisyn of just stay stoked launched her brand new apparel company, wandering waves surf company a little bit ago and i had the absolute pleasure of creating a design for new initial launch line.

madisyn came to me with the idea of a vintage-y band tee style shirt. she for sure wanted her company name on the front and for it to overall feel very travel-y and beach-y with a wave theme framed by some hibiscus and plumeria floral. and this is where we ended up! I’d say we totally nailed it, right?

a super common question I get asked when doing apparel design specifically, is what if they don’t have that, love at first sight feeling when they see the initial designs? and I tell them that that is completely normal! I am not a one and done pony, take it or leave it. we work together with back and forth constant communication until we nailed it perfectly, and you feel totally in love. this design specifically included about four rounds of changes.
